Speeding
Attorney Reed N. Noble has successfully handled speeding tickets for clients since 1982.

Your speeding offense carries with it serious personal and financial consequences including:

a. Potential loss of your driving privileges,

b. Significant insurance rate increases,

c. Potential jail, and

d. Significant expenses for court costs and fines.

Attorney Reed N. Noble can "waive your appearance" in court even when your speeding ticket says your appearance is "mandatory" in most cases when you fill out the form below and send it to him.

Speeding offenses have the following points in North Carolina:

a. Speeding greater than 80 MPH in 70 MPH and lower speed zones is "3" Division of Motor Vehicle Points (12 points in three years takes your license) and "4" Insurance Points (90% increase in premiums for three years),

b. Speeding greater than 75 MPH in 65 MPH and lower speed zones is "3" Division of Motor Vehicle Points (12 points in three years takes your license) and "4" Insurance Points (90% increase in premiums for three years),

c. Speeding greater than 10 MPH over the speed limit where the driver's speed was greater than 55 MPH but less than 75 MPH is "3" Division of Motor Vehicle Points (12 points in three years takes your license) and "2" Insurance Points (45% increase in premiums for three years),

d. Speeding 10 MPH or less where the posted speed limit is 55 MPH or greater is "3" Division of Motor Vehicle Points (12 points in three years takes your license) and "2" Insurance Points (45% increase in premiums for three years),
e. Speeding 10 MPH or less where the speed limit is 60 MPH or 65 MPH is "3" Division of Motor Vehicle Points (12 points in three years takes your license) and "2" Insurance Points (45% increase in premiums for three years).

f. Speeding 10 MPH or less where the speed limit is less than 55 MPH is "2" Division of Motor Vehicle Points (12 points in three years takes your license) and "1" Insurance Points (25% increase in premiums for three years, if you have had a previous ticket within three years, otherwise no insurance points unless you get another speeding ticket).
All consultations to discuss the effect of your speeding ticket and the game plan to "fix it" are free and any without obligation whatsoever.

Attorney Reed N. Noble will help you negate or minimize the effect of your speeding offense upon your license and your insurance by:

a. "Plea bargaining" to lesser insurance point offenses,

b. "Citation modification" to non-moving violations,

c. The use of "prayer for judgment continued" so that no final conviction is entered from which license points and insurance points can be calculated, and

d. "Trial" of your matter to put the State of North Carolina to task.
